Introducing resources for responsible housing development, cool DIY ideas, and other clever folks working to improve habitats like we are.
Our team has been attending a dizzying amount of “how-to” webinars about online engagement these days. We’re pretty sure we heard one of the team saying “content, content, content” during his 15 minute break nap. But, what do you do when the clock is winding down and there’s still so much to do?
Easy. Link to a better blog and call it a guest series ^_^
So now that you know for sure that our team is phoning it in this week, you should get your content fix from another American non-profit working to improve the country’s housing problems: Strong Towns. Strong Towns is an international movement dedicated to making communities across the United States and Canada financially strong and resilient. They have a bevy of books, blogs, and other content spelling out why affordable housing is such an entrenched problem and offering some ideas on how to address them.
If that sounds like something you’re passionate about (a safe bet if you’re already engaged with Habitat for Humanity), check out this post: When Missing Middle Isn’t Enough, Look to “Stickplexes”
